Farmers’ meeting lays thrust on integrated farming

COIMBATORE: Farmers should take up allied agricultural practices such as poultry and cattle rearing for better profit, said experts at the second edition of Uzhave Thalai, an event held in the city on Saturday to provide guidance to farmers and those interested in agriculture.
Experts, who spoke at the event organised by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, called for farmers to involve in allied farming practices and also learn and implement accounting and costing methods to earn more profit.
