Millets, red rice on display at three-day mela

To popularise and bring back the humble millet into the cuisine, promote the crop for its eco-friendly tendency to grow without much water, and highlight the health benefits and the sheer amount of culinary delights that can be teased out of it — these were some of the salient features of the three-day ‘Millet Mela’ that began at the at Nanjaraja Bahadur Choultry here on Friday.
