Adopt organic farming in a big way, LG tells farmers

The Lt. Governor, Lt. Gen. A.K. Singh (Retd) has given a clarion call to all the stakeholders to work unitedly and take the farming of A & N Islands to completely organic level. Inaugurating the two-day state level seminar-cum-exhibition on ‘strategies, challenges and opportunities of organic farming of horticulture crops in A & N Islands’ at Megapode Resort this morning, the Lt. Governor stated, “We have a long way to go in this direction, the beginning for which has been made today”. He also released the souvenir “Neil Vegetable Organic Mission” to mark the launch.
