We have been delighted with the great response to our 1 month Programme on Eco-friendly Food and Farming.

We are now happy to offer the following programmes at the Bhoomi campus:

Education for Sustainability – 21st October – 2nd Nov, 2013.

Come and join with Bhoomi students and faculty in exploring how contemporary education can support a sustainable human presence on this Earth.

Education for the 21st century is called upon to meet the interrelated challenges of human equity and ecological sustainability, in addition to supporting the holistic development of the individual. As well as looking critically at the purpose and approaches within education, we will be exploring how educational institutions and processes can meet the challenges and opportunities inherent in learning to live on this planet in a mutually beneficial way.

• 2 weeks module: 21st October – 2nd November 2013
• Weekend Seminar: 26th October – 27th October 2013

Only 10 seats are available.

Programme Fees:

Rs. 5,000/- for 2 weeks;
Rs. 1,000/- for 2 days. (Weekend Seminar).

What is wrong with Industrial Agriculture?

October 19th, 2013 (2.30 pm to 5.00 pm)
Devinder Sharma, award winning journalist, Food Policy Analyst and an anti-GM crop activist will offer a session at Bhoomi College, focusing on food, trade policy and the future of international agriculture.

With his unique ability to simplify global treaties and agreements in a manner comprehensible to the common man, Mr. Sharma will share his expertise on issues concerning sustainable agriculture and implications of India’s recently passed food security bill.
