The Organic Farming Association of India is firmly committed to ensure that genetically modified food is neither grown nor distributed nor consumed in India because it is convinced that such food is a danger to public health.
Organic farming and GM crops are incompatible. If GM crops are allowed, organic farming will die. This is an act of monumental stupidity.
The Organic Farming Association of India was part of the active campaign to prevent the introduction of genetically modified brinjal in the country.
